Terms of Use

Last updated: 04 August 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Rung Health Ltd. They cover your use of the Rung app and anything connected to it. By using Rung, you accept them. If you don't accept them, don't use the app.

1. Who We Are

Rung is made by Rung Health Ltd, a company registered in Wales (company number 17153063). Our registered address is 15 Stallcourt Avenue, Llantwit Major, Wales, CF61 1TE.

You can reach us at support@runghealth.com.

2. What Rung is, and what it is not

Rung is a wellness and coaching app. It reads health data you choose to share, and gives you general coaching about movement, sleep, recovery and food.

* It does not diagnose, treat, cure, monitor or prevent any illness or condition. Nothing in the app is a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or medical advice, and nothing in it replaces a conversation with a doctor, nurse, pharmacist or any other qualified health profeRung is not a medical device, and it is not medical care.** It does not diagnose, treat, cure, monitor or prevent any illness or condition. Nothing in the app is a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or medical advice, and nothing in it replaces a conversation with a doctor, nurse, pharmacist or any other qualified health professional.

Always speak to a qualified health professional about your health, and before you make any decision about your health, your medication or your treatment. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.

Never delay getting medical advice, or ignore advice you have been given, because of something Rung said.

3. The app license

Your licence to install and use the Rung app on your Apple device is governed by Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement, which you can read at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.

These Terms of Use sit on top of that licence and cover the Rung service itself. Where the two genuinely conflict on the licence to the app, Apple's agreement wins.

4. Who can use Rung

You must be 18 or over to use Rung. By using it you confirm that you are.

Rung is not designed for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has used Rung, email us and we will delete the account and the data.

5. Your account

You sign in with Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping access to your Apple ID secure, and for everything that happens on your account.

Tell us at support@runghealth.com if you think someone else has got into your account.

6. Subscriptions, free trial, and billing

Rung is a paid subscription. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy, and they can change.

- New subscriptions start with a 7 day free trial* unless we say otherwise at the point of purchase.
- Payment is taken by Apple, charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase or when the free trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically* at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renew at least *24 hours before the period ends.
- Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
- If you have a free trial and you buy a subscription during it, the unused part of the trial is forfeited.

We do not take your payment details and we cannot see them. Apple handles all of it.

7. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel at any time in your Apple ID subscription settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not refund the period you are already in, and you keep access until that period ends.

* Ask for one at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue, approve or promise refunds for purchases made through the App Store.Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us.** Ask for one at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue, approve or promise refunds for purchases made through the App Store.

If you are in the UK or the EU, cancelling a subscription under these terms does not affect any statutory rights you have.

8. AI coaching

Rung's coaching is generated by artificial intelligence, using the data you share and what you tell it.

AI gets things wrong. It can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or simply confident and mistaken. Treat what Rung tells you as general coaching and as a starting point for your own thinking, not as fact and not as instruction. Use your judgement, and see clause 2 about medical decisions.

You should not share information with the coach that you would not want stored and processed. How we handle what you share is set out in our Privacy Policy at https://runghealth.com/privacy.

9. Your health data

Rung reads health data from Apple Health only with your permission, and only the categories you agree to. You can withdraw that permission at any time in the iOS Settings app or the Health app.

We use your data to give you coaching, and to run and improve the service. What we collect, how long we keep it, who processes it and what rights you have over it are all set out in our Privacy Policy at https://runghealth.com/privacy. That policy forms part of these terms.

You can export or delete your data from within the app.

10. What you agree not to do

Don't use Rung to break the law, to harm anyone, or to get around any security or payment control. Don't try to reverse engineer, copy, resell or redistribute the app or its content. Don't use it to build a competing product, and don't submit anyone else's personal data without their permission.

We can suspend or end your access if you do any of these.

11. Content

We own the Rung app, its name, its design and everything we publish in it. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use it while your subscription is active. You keep ownership of what you put in, such as your check-ins, notes and messages, and you give us permission to process it so we can run the service for you.

12. Changes and availability

We update Rung often. Features can change, and features can go away. We aim to keep the service running but we do not promise it will always be available or error free, and parts of it depend on Apple, on your device and on your internet connection.

We can change these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you carry on using Rung after that, you accept the new terms.

13. Ending your access

You can stop using Rung and delete your account at any time from within the app.

We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms, or if we stop offering the service. If we close your account because we are stopping the service, and you have paid for a period you have not used, contact us and we will help you get that sorted with Apple.

14. Our responsibility to you

We do not exclude or limit our responsibility to you where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and for fraud.

Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows:

- Rung is provided as it is. We do not promise it is accurate, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.
- We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable, for business losses, or for anything arising from you relying on Rung's coaching in place of professional medical advice.
- If we are found responsible for something, our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

15. Complaints, law and disputes

If something has gone wrong, email support@runghealth.com first. We would rather fix it than argue about it.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, or in the EU, you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer law where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
